Gabrielle Papillon - Sound Check

Jess Janz

On June 28, 2010, 7.00PM Jess Janz, Jon Bryant and Gabrielle Papillon will be doing a house concert at the Janz’s. It’s going to be a great night! Come on out and join us.

We caught up with Jon in Toronto as he’s travelling across Canada with Gabrielle on Via Rail and playing as they travel at different venues and on the train. He was nice enough to do a phone interview with us from one of his favorite coffee shops. Jon was nice enough to allow us to add some of his music to the interview, we sent it to the amazingly talented Chris Michel, and voila – you can download it by CLICKING HERE. To purchase Jon Bryant music visit iTunes.

See ya on the 28th!

Ari Neufeld and Richard St. Onge

Dropped in on Ari Neufeld and Richard St. Onge at the Dublin Crossing in Surrey last night. Ari plays there almost monthly and it’s always great to hear this passionate artist. What an extra treat to have Richard along. Gotta love the cello!

Ari suprised me with pictures of a beautiful Celtic cross I asked to make several months ago out of rusted cement. I thought he had forgotten. Beautiful. Stay tuned for pictures. You’re going to love it!

Here’s a video of Richard and Ari jammin’ in Ari’s chicken coup from Chris Stenberg’s website:

Chris Janzen and Old Mare

Just added a Chris Janzen and Old Mare compilation video to the video page. Great “new” music. I’m told Chris is very famous in remote islands off Denmark! He sure is one of our favorite sons. Rumor has it he’s in the studio trying to complete a new CD, and trying to find a date to do a house concert at the Janz’s again this Summer.
